This year the Chris Rose Therapy Centre for Autism Foundation is going to try a new type of fundraiser … an online art auction! We have already had a number of pieces donated by artists, and we will be running an online auction from 4:00 PM on April 9th through to noon on April 11th. April is World Autism Awareness month, and we would love to invite you to celebrate with us by taking part in our first ever Chris Rose Online Art Auction.
The auction will features works donated by such well-known local artists as David Langevin, Tricia Sellmer, Lynne Woodruff, Vaughn Butland, Wilf Schmidt, Lance Weisser, Susan Knox, Robert A. Campbell, Bonnie Kavanaugh, Jackie Ziehe, Penny Heaslip, Deb Fong, Sheila Macdonald, Valerie Deacon, Cathie Peters, Alison Francis, Sarah Rose, Royden Josephson, Kathie Gray, Max Grass, Sharon Schwartz, Ken Gray, Gine Rose, Lee Walton, Dr. Allen Frissell, Parm Armstrong, Robin Lafreniere, Maureen Hove, Ila Crawford, Karl Willms, Sandra Sugden and Wendy Madsen, and also artists from outside of Kamloops such as Aina Elina Rønningen (Norway), Amy Ballett (St. Catharine’s, Ontario) and Debbee Skinner (New Hampshire). Mediums explored include watercolours, acrylics, oils, sketches, linotypes, quilting, felting and metalwork.
