These are not desk jobs — staff will partake in activities with our clients either on a one-to-one basis or in a group setting. All applicants will need to have a Class 5 license, clean driving record and a reliable vehicle to transport clients as well as a valid First Aid (Emergency First Aid – Community Care or equivalent). Some of the activities staff partake in will include swimming, hiking, walking, and other physical activities dependent on the individual goals of the client(s) they work with. Applicants must be comfortable enough in the water to swim with the person(s) they are working with.
Occupational Therapist – We have an opening currently for an occupational therapist in our school-based and extended programs, working with children between the ages of 5 and 18. Applicants must be eligible for registration with British Columbia Society of Occupational Therapists. Apply Online
Community Inclusion Worker – We have availabilities in our Centre for individuals to work with the young men and women who attend our community inclusion program. At present there is one full-time position available, and two part-time positions with the possibility of relief. This program works directly with adults with autism spectrum disorder (ages 19 and up). Apply Online
School and Community Support Worker / Community Inclusion Worker (relief) – We have availabilties in our Centre for individuals to work relief in our day (ages 5-12), extended (ages 6-18) and adult (ages 19+) programs. These are relief positions, so there are no guaranteed hours. Apply Online
Volunteer Opportunities – We’re looking for a few talented and conscientious volunteer board members to lead and strengthen our programs for individuals with ASD and their families.
