Our Extended Program is designed for children aged 6 to 18 who are eligible for funding through the Ministry of Children and Family Development’s Autism Funding Program. This program provides personalized, goal-oriented intervention services that focus on each child’s strengths and needs in a community-based environment outside of their school program.
Operating from 3 PM to 5 PM in Kamloops, children receive one-on-one support for 1-2 hours per week, with a schedule that is flexible and decided in collaboration with the family working on an individualized goal plan created with the family
The program is community-based, offering a unique approach that supports children outside the Centre with a behavioral interventionist. It is focused on building skills and providing practical support tailored to the child’s developmental level.
